As a result of client feedback, and our efforts toward continuous improvement, BRI has added a File Import Wizard on BRIWEB. This wizard will streamline the file-uploading process, facilitate faster funding, and eliminate data integrity risks resulting from manual file handling. It will be made available to all clients who use the Secure File Upload functionality to send files to BRI.
This enhancement will provide the following benefits:
- Streamline file imports
- Instant feedback on formatting errors
- Reduce wait time
- Faster funding
- Less risk with manual handling
- Improve customer service
Note, if you are submitting files through FTP or if a third party is submitting files on your behalf, you are not impacted by this change.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for this change?
We recommend reviewing your existing files against the BRI file standards to ensure a seamless change. Files that follow the same format and headers will be automatically recognized. If your file uses a different format, you will be prompted to map the file on the initial import.
